古木・廃棄材を活用した「eco-wood-clock」ワークショップ

THE NORTH FACE＋ ワークショップ 2023 SPRING

2019年に行われた THE NORTH FACE＋ラゾーナ川崎様とのコラボワークショップで好評だった、古木・廃棄材を活用した時計づくりを、より進化させ今回は「山」をモチーフにした「eco-wood-clock」ワークショップを開催しました。

「富士山」「槍ヶ岳」をイメージしたフォルムの文字盤をご用意し、古木・廃棄材の木片を自由に組み合わせて自分好みの山の景色を仕上げていただきました。

普段からアウトドアを楽しまれている方々だけでなく、通りがかりのお客様など大人から小さなお子さんまで年齢問わずに自由な発想で楽しんで、世界にひとつの景色を創っていただきました。

Utilizing old wood and waste materials【eco-wood-clock】Workshop

The "eco-wood-clock" with a "mountain" motif is a further evolution of the watchmaking method using old wood and waste materials, which was well received at the collaboration workshop with THE NORTH FACE + Lazona Kawasaki held in 2019.”
 

We prepared dials with shapes inspired by Mt. Fuji and Mt. Yarigatake, and asked customers to freely combine old and discarded wood pieces to create their own favorite mountain scenery.

We invited people of all ages, from adults to small children, not only people who enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis, but also people passing by, to use their free ideas and enjoy creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art.
