川崎市制100周年の記念品として制作した「かわさきマイスタープロジェクト」

新たな名産品として、川崎の匠がコラボして、市ブランドメッセージを盛り込みました。

「マイスタースツール」は、ヘラ絞り加工と、木工家具制作の技が結合して、魅力あるプロダクトが完成。

The "Kawasaki Meister Project" was created as a commemorative gift for the 100th anniversary of Kawasaki City.

As a new specialty product, we have collaborated with Kawasaki craftsmen to incorporate the city's brand message.

``Meister Stool'' combines spatula drawing and wood furniture production techniques to create an attractive product.

【デザイン】
多くの人が興味を持ち、マイスターにしか出来ない造形、川崎らしさの表現を目指しました。
シンプルで実際の使い心地も良く、学校や公共施設や個人での利用を想定し、今後も生産可能なカタチにしています。
またオーダーにより高さを調整した制作が可能です。

【design】
Many people were interested in it, and we aimed to create a design that only a master could create and express the uniqueness of Kawasaki.
It is simple and comfortable to use, and is intended for use in schools, public facilities, and individuals, and is designed to be able to be produced in the future.
In addition, it is possible to make the height adjusted according to the order.

【素材ストーリー】
ecoに配慮して、本体はリサイクルされたアルミを活用。通常での加工は難しい曲面が、まわりの風景を美しく反射します。
座面は、小学校で廃棄となる学習机をアップサイクルし、市民の学びの記憶が引き継がれてます。また富士山裾野で育ったFUJIヒノキを活用し、多様性を表現するために木目小口側を魅せる寄木加工は、ユニークで座りやすい柔らかな凹面になってます。

さらに100周年バージョンでは、コロナ禍で使われたアクリルパーテーションを活用し、LEDで光るアクセントとして魅力アップに組み合わせています。

[Material story]
Considering eco-friendliness, the main body is made of recycled aluminum. The curved surface, which is difficult to process normally, reflects the surrounding scenery beautifully.
The seats are upcycled study desks that would otherwise be discarded at elementary schools, preserving the memories of learning that citizens have learned. In addition, we use FUJI cypress grown at the foot of Mt. Fuji, and to express diversity, the parquet finish that emphasizes the edges of the wood grain has a unique, soft concave surface that is comfortable to sit on.

In addition, the 100th anniversary version utilizes acrylic partitions used during the coronavirus pandemic and combines them with LED-lit accents to enhance its appeal.
